Authors: Nah, Christopher Wei Xiong
Keywords: DRNTU::Engineering
Issue Date: 2016
Abstract: The aim of this project is to come up with a solution for a cheap security camera system using the Raspberry Pi. The users will be informed through emails when any intruders are detected trying to enter their homes. Images captured or videos recorded upon detection of an intruder will also be attached in the emails. The main program used will be the Python 3 on the Raspberry Pi. This report covers the introduction, different commands on Raspberry Pi, main codes to get the program working on Python 3, and the demo of the Raspberry Pi Security Camera System. Lessons learnt from this project, limitations and further implementations will also be shared.
