dc.description.abstractIn this project, a smart platform for report generation was developed in order to improve the productivity and working efficiency as well as to reduce the paper usage in the office work. A smart report generation platform has been designed and developed for Photonics Global Conference 2017. Moreover, the design would be a long-term solution for conference/enterprise to generate report automatically when dealing with huge and complex database efficiently. This report presents the life cycle of the software development from system requirements analysis, to system modeling and implementation. After analyzing the motivations and clarifying all the user requirements, the report presents the system modeling with detailed explanations, and introduces how different methodologies, technologies and software components interact with each other in order to realize all the functionalities. More details are provided in this report to illustrate the whole development process, and to show in which ways could the system help improve the efficiency on data management. At the end of the report, conclusions and recommendations are provided for further studies on related research areas.en_US
