This report plans to cover the general idea behind an invisibility cloaking device and the modification of a few select parameters of the invisibility cloaking device. Thus far, previous research into invisibility cloaks have only considered the perfect scenario with a homogenous background media. This research intends to research the effects of realistic cases and the performance of an invisibility cloak in such a case, along with the modification of select parameters and the effects they have on the cloak itself. COMSOL Multiphysics Modeling Software will be used in the simulation of the performance of the cloaks. Existing solutions for an invisibility cloak involve polar coordinates, but to implement them in COMSOL, they have to be converted into Cartesian coordinates.en_US
