Title: | Module-integrated single phase micro-inverter | Authors: | Ng, Andy Yao Hong | Keywords: | DRNTU::Engineering | Issue Date: | 2016 | Abstract: | Natural resources play an important role to everyone on the earth. It provides electricity to homes, fuels to cars and without natural resources, there will be chaos everywhere. Natural resources can be split into 2 types, renewable and non-renewable. Examples of non-renewable sources are natural gas and coal. Examples of renewable sources are solar and wind. The purpose of this project is to build a solar micro inverter. The project contains 2 main components, the DC-DC converter and DC-AC inverter. MATLAB software is used to test and simulate the inverter. After finishing simulation, building the physical inverter begins. Outputs from dSPACE are used as a control signal to the IGBTs. A power supply unit will act as a solar panel, source, for the micro inverter. | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/10356/68070 | Schools: | School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering | Rights: | Nanyang Technological University | Fulltext Permission: | restricted | Fulltext Availability: | With Fulltext |
