Abstract: The theme of sacrifice and persistence before finally achieving success is explored through the lives of young full-time student national athletes, who have to manage their professional sports careers simultaneously to become the faces of the country. We succeeded in extracting such information through interviews and through footage recorded from their trainings. I attempted a observational approach to the project with an empathetic tone. At the end of it, I think it’s essentially a visual treat for the eyes and a gentle touch on the heart. We discovered that the athletes’ lives basically revolved around studies and their sports trainings, and lived their lives experiencing much failure before eventual success, which is a basic principle to achieve any kind of true success in our lives.
