Abstract: CanSat is an artificial satellite that fits inside a drinking can. This project allows the student to learn, design and build CanSats that serve various purposes. This project is targeted to construct ‘Can Satellite’ with various functions at optimum cost. The mission of the specific CanSat will differ based on different thematic workshops that are to offer and difference in technical levels of various group of target students. An evaluation of various wireless communication system and sensors will be conducted in the beginning. For all the CanSats that are going to be designed and built, relevant data will be collected from CanSat to the ground station within 50m range, and displayed at a terminal that is connect to the ground station. The collected data will be processed and analysed for various purposes.
