dc.description.abstract | The A-level Mathematical education in Singapore is important for building highly skilled analytical workforce as industrialization rapidly grows. With such qualitative education, the A-level math continues to be highly valued by stakeholders and students preparing for tertiary education. As Mathematics is an important factor for developing and understanding many disciplines. It is generally widely used to model the physical world, in terms of creating new products, services and support data. [1] In this modern world, educations and trainings have encouraged the development of new e-learning tools, system, and delivery methods. As new era of learning approaches have emerged, students are able to access learning materials at any time or location by accessing the internet connecting to appropriate systems. Evaluation and assessment of students’ progress are essential in education systems as it is to assure students are progressing exponentially and succeeded to acquire knowledge. Methods such as: conducting lab experiments, assigning projects and generating quizzes and exams for students enables student to evaluate their level of understanding on respective modules. Thus, the E-tutoring system could bring education into the digital world without physical constraints. For this final year project, the focus will be on the development of the Junior College Mathematics H2 E-tutoring system. | en_US |
