Nowadays, there is a growing demand of safe and clean energy, both electrical power and natural gas. Therefore, an improvement in gas pipeline safety control and daily operation is necessary to replace the time-taking traditional manual maintenance procedures. As the fault detecting sensors under research, an ancillary software should be developed to generate the data feedback from the sensors, present the sequence number and location of fault-reporting sensors. This project proposes to use Geographic Information Services (GIS) mapping to present the information of sensors. Comparison among possible schemes are made, and the language to write the programme is decided to be C++ and the mapping function is to be developed on the base of Google Maps. Microsoft Office Excel is chosen to build the database, and QQ mailboxes would be the sample receiver mailbox. The programme presents in this paper is proved be able to output with the correct sensor information and send alarm emails to users, so that the location of environment situation of the sensor could be checked via hand phones.en_US
