Abstract: With the continuing development of science and technology, nowadays, IT industry inevitably plays a crucial role in it. How to transfer and store information conveniently with solid security through the internet, has become an important topic. Could, is a newly invented technology over the past few years. It allows the user to access the resource or applications by easily tapping into the cloud. Due to its ease to use with high reliability and large scalability, as well as the low cost, cloud computing grows rapidly. And, more and more people are using cloud to store and transfer their data, which in the other hand, increasing the concern of the safety environment in cloud computing. With this concern, the security of cloud computing is vitally important, which could save huge losses of individuals and companies. Additionally, if this concern is properly addressed, developments of cloud computing could be expedited and diversified. This report mainly focuses on the security of cloud computing in Windows and Android systems, and targets on one of the cloud services – Dropbox, to study the potential security issues. A solution is proposed for enhancing the security of data in Dropbox. Detailed design and implementation of the program is also presented.
