The energy industry is facing an exponential increase in the demand for electricity due to the rising global energy consumption. With fossil fuels being depleted at a tremendous rate and escalating environmental concerns, this challenge calls for the need to tap energy from alternative sources. The industries have been working extensively on offering technological solutions to this problem by utilising energy from multiple renewable sources with micro grid as a viable option. With micro grid being a solution to the problem at hand, we need to consider the impending question of how to control and coordinate between the energy sources without compromising the system stability. This is one of the biggest challenges to the micro grid operator. This project aims at investigating the different control strategies of integrating multiple inverters in parallel that feed the distributed loads connected to the grid and arrive at one feasible method as a result. Different architectures like Master slave control, droop control etc. are analysed using the electronic circuit software simulation package PSIM and the results are simulated and compared in the same platform.en_US
