Title: Injection moulding of composites
Authors: Loh, Ngiap Hiang.
Keywords: DRNTU::Engineering::Materials::Composite materials
Issue Date: 1998
Abstract: The main objectives of this research project are to establish technological know-how, build up the MIM technology such that defect-free parts (molding, debinding and sintering) can be produced and the mechanical properties optimised. Application of the MIM process for composites was also explored. Establishing the technological know-how is crucial as the process involves four basic steps and defects generated in a particular step cannot be rectified in subsequent steps.
