Abstract: This report aims to create a web-based application for PSLE Chinese comprehension for primary 6 students who are graduating. The advantages of this platform will be convenient, interesting, simple and easy to use for the users. Students are able to practice their Chinese writing skills through the assessments built on this platform, and also learn from their mistakes in their answers by reviewing the assessment history. The system primarily will focus on the design of the semantic analysis and syntactic analysis. Why did I choose Chinese for this system? Because in the future, Chinese will be an important language as China is the second biggest economic country in the world below America. To create more business opportunities with them, we need to learn to speak and write Chinese fluently. To improve the standard of the student in the Chinese Language (CL), we have come out with a good quality Chinese education that starts from primary school. In order to do well in an examination, the student must practice enough before they attend the real examination. As language is a subject that must be practiced constantly. However, it's costly to hire a Chinese tutor and time is also needed for the teacher or tutor to mark your paper. In this case, it gives me an idea and comes out with the web-based application for the students to practice their Chinese Language. Thus, in conclusion, this platform will definitely help in the improving the standards of primary school students who are studying the language in the future. The statistics of the results and assessments will be displayed out in this project.
