Abstract: All solution processed Al-doped Zinc Oxide (AZO)/Silver Nanowires (AgNWs)/Al-doped Zinc Oxide (AZO)/Zinc Oxide (ZnO) composite electrode is prepared to produce transparent, conductive layer for thin film solar cells. Metal oxide ZnO was synthesized by the combustion sol–gel approach at temperatures at/below 200 C and doped with Aluminium (Al). The optical transmittance of the ZnO film rises with Al dopant concentration up to a maximum of 2 at %.
