Title: | Development of E-tutoring system for Pimary 5 Mathematics | Authors: | Ye, Yu | Keywords: | DRNTU::Engineering | Issue Date: | 2016 | Abstract: | Nowadays, the E-tutoring platform has become the most important “horizon project “to be developed for many public schools and private education institutions in the worldwide. To solve the demands of the “No Child Left behind Legislation”, many of them, among others, are willing to implement E-tutoring programs to assist in the meeting. Moreover, more and more schools have a desire to conduct online face-to-face education and to complement the efforts of home, private, and alternative school programs. There were many of the E-tutoring platforms available on the market currently, such as Blackboard and WebCT, which have become the market leaders currently. Although they are very popular in high-level education groups, such as colleges or universities, they are not that suitable for primary school those enlightenment education groups. Some more, they are very cost-prohibitive also. Thus, an alternative E-tutoring platform customized for primary school is needed. Through research, a program called Moodle was discovered. Moodle is an open source program to support a community of developers.
