Abstract: The influence of Artificial Intelligence is extending widely over several areas including transportation and manufacturing industries. The autonomous cars and unmanned vehicles are the outcome of the influence of Artificial Intelligence in the field of transportation. These autonomous vehicles are highly beneficial and they are planned to be implemented in Singapore by ST Engineering. This dissertation has been inspired from the requirements framed by ST Engineering group involving a simulation that depicts almost all the characteristics and behaviour of the real-time system. The scope of this dissertation is to design a base traffic network of a resort world thereby simulating ground vehicles and control their functionalities in the network from an external platform. The final simulator is successfully developed using Vissim and it supports the incorporation of ground vehicles and control their functionalities in accordance with the commands from an external platform.
