|Title:||马来亚土生华人在中国南来作家作品中的形象研究 = A study on the image of Malayan Peranakans in literary works by Chinese Southbound writers||Authors:||余妍葶 Ee, Yen Teng||Keywords:||DRNTU::Humanities||Issue Date:||2017||Abstract:||在马来亚本土社会中，土生华人是一个独特又拥有多元文化的群体。他们秉承父族（华人）的文化遗产，同时又吸收母族（马来人）文化。他们受英文教育，以英语作为沟通的媒介。久而久之，这形成了独特的土生华人文化。然而，在中国南来作家的眼中，土生华人这种混杂的文化身份认同往往被否定。本文主要以三篇通过中国南来作家的小说作为研究的题材，即丘士珍《峇峇与娘惹》、铁抗《洋玩具》及方北方《娘惹与峇峇》，观察这些中国南来作家如何再现土生华人形象及社会面貌，如何定义土生华人在马来亚这一地区的身份及位置，以及文本如何透露了作者们对“中国中心主义”的倾向。The Peranakan Chinese is a unique and culturally diverse community in the Malayan society. A symbol of the marriage between the Malay and Chinese cultures, most Peranakan Chinese are English educated and speak English, forming a unique Peranakan culture of their own with the passing of time. While their culture might seem diverse and rich to some, the same may not be said for Chinese Southbound writers, who feel that the Peranakan Chinese’s complex identity is not something to be celebrated. This paper aims to explore the literary works of three Chinese Southbound writers and gain a deeper insight on the following: how Chinese Southbound writers have depicted the Peranakan Chinese and the Malayan society in their works, how they have defined Peranakan Chinese’s sense of identity as well as how these works reflect the writers’ underlying sinocentrism.||URI:||http://hdl.handle.net/10356/69681||Rights:||Nanyang Technological University||Fulltext Permission:||restricted||Fulltext Availability:||With Fulltext|
