Issue Date: 2017
Abstract: Increasing problems pertaining to skin aging is on the rise and has triggered the level of significance in this research area to fill the lack of scientific investigations. It is an important physiological example of senescence, an important contributor to aging and age-related disease, as well as the suppression of potential carcinogenic cells from proliferation. Recent studies have identified the effects of aging in altering cellular polarity, though the underlying mechanisms were not explicitly stated.
