Research in advanced manufacturing technology : powder injection molding and thermal spray characterization

Abstract

The objectives of this research program are: (a) to establish and to enhance the R&D capability in advanced manufacturing technologies. (b) to provide benchmark data for plasma spraying process using phase-Doppler anemometry (c) to establish the appropriate CFD parameters for the predictions and calculations of the plasma spraying process. (d) to provide numerical analysis and analytical models for particle injection molding processes.
