Title: Clock synchronization over bluetooth
Authors: Chang, Jun Wei
Keywords: DRNTU::Engineering::Computer science and engineering
Issue Date: 2017
Abstract: Having synchronized system clocks among wireless nodes is critical for many applications. Although two communicating Bluetooth chips will synchronize with each other in time precisely, the application-layer program often cannot access such physical layer information to synchronize the clocks of the host devices. This project aims at developing application-layer clock synchronization approaches for Bluetooth devices. Challenges including dynamic packet transmission delays in Bluetooth communications need to be addressed to achieve high accuracy in synchronizing the nodes’ system clocks.
