Abstract: This project aims to allow air travelers to be able to book their air tickets at the cheapest possible fare. Building on initial research showing that air fares varied based on the Country of Sale, a website called SkyScrooge.us was built using the SkyScanner API, Flask and Bootstrap which allows travelers to view the air fares for the same flight offered in different countries around the world and book their tickets via a deep link to the booking agent’s site. This project aims to disrupt traditional airline pricing strategies and democratize the internet economy.
