Abstract: Home automation is an area widely explored due to technological advancement and increasing popularity. From security to monitoring purposes, home automation covers a wide range and provides solution to users away from home. As home automation is flexible in the area of coverage, it can include for example, healthcare monitoring and security monitoring at the same time. It provides a platform for user to interact with via webpage, to allow constant monitoring and certain updates of their home activity. Smart home with devices that can be controlled remotely is the idea behind this project. The project focuses on a home security and monitoring system by implementing system activation and camera to provide visual information as assurance of the home activities. This is done with a webpage using remote control.
