dc.description.abstract | Requiem is a short live action film it is fully packed with actions of fighting scene. On top of the dynamic movements, the film seeks to convey a violent tone, in terms of ‘survival of the fittest’ as being portrayed by Requiem’s protagonist ‘Prisoner 2048’. To create an atmosphere fill with intensity, cinematic choices, colour palette, design direction and overall layout of the film were carefully crafted, ensuring that the film remains exciting yet anticipating. This report documents the process of making this final year project thesis film from its beginning till its final stages, highlighting artistic and technicality of making of Requiem. It introduces the challenges encountered as well as the techniques that we had applied to resolute these difficulties.
