dc.description.abstractIn recent years, there is an increasing trend in the development of underground spaces, and is one development with great potential especially for a land scarce city like Singapore. There is no lack of projects done worldwide and further development can be done based on the various underground cavern constructions. However, what is lacking at this point is the accessibility of essential parameters and data that are crucial for further development in underground construction process. This project conducts data collection for the underground caverns that have been constructed. The data collected would be used to develop the databases through Structured Query Language(SQL) and thereafter linking it to Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP) for creation of a search engine. The development of database management system is further explained in this report which acts as a basis for future development of data management of underground caverns that would aid greatly in the caverns construction process.en_US
