Abstract: Lavan is a hand-drawn 2D short animation film that depicts a greedy white sand creature that takes in more than he could to fill up his desire. This film has drawn inspiration from the bible about how humans would always have many desires that they tend to lead themselves into destruction, and such the story, the look of the film, character design and animation would be created in a form of a folktale style to it. In this written report, it will be documenting the process of producing the film from ideation to production and post-production, in addition to the author’s experiences and reflection throughout the whole production to its completion.
