dc.description.abstractWireless localization has been on the rise since the early 2000s and constant improvements to the system are being made, with many more being discovered every day. This report is to examine wireless localization in today’s environment and to analyse why wireless localization is required despite having technologies such as the Global Positioning System (GPS). This report aims to explain the various techniques used to carry out wireless localization as well as to elaborate on the Space-Alternating Generalized Expectation (SAGE) algorithm and other Line-of-Sight (LOS), Non-Line-of-Sight (NLOS) and multipath algorithms.en_US
