Title: | Design and build a dual input positive linear regulator | Authors: | Li, Rongbin | Keywords: | DRNTU::Engineering::Electrical and electronic engineering | Issue Date: | 2017 | Abstract: | In an electronic system, to maintain a stable and steady voltage, a linear regulator is required. Regulator resistance changes according to the load and finally come out with the constant output voltage. To ensure the output voltage keep in constant, the regulating device must act like a variable resistor and able to adjust the voltage divider network sequentially. The purpose of this project is to build a dual input regulator to vary the voltage and keep the voltage in constant. The report will go in depth to understand how the different components work in the regulator circuit and finally know the regulator operating principle. It includes the operation of transformer, rectifier and regulation process. | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/10356/71229 | Schools: | School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering | Rights: | Nanyang Technological University | Fulltext Permission: | restricted | Fulltext Availability: | With Fulltext |
