Issue Date: | 2004 | Abstract: | This dissertation provides an insight into the reformed industry concentration; the supply and demand relationship; and, the impact on the secondary electricity suppliers, i.e. generating set (Gen-set) retailers, which have traditionally served as a backup to supplement the erratic supply. The emphasis is on analysing the dynamics of government reforms, policies and environmental changes through a series of supply and demand scenarios, showing the factors that will influence the growth and development of the Gen-sets industry. Finally, an analysis of the various competitive factors among the Gen- set retailers is performed to explore new market opportunities for the Gen-set retailers. | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/10356/7140 | Schools: | Nanyang Business School | Rights: | Nanyang Technological University | Fulltext Permission: | restricted | Fulltext Availability: | With Fulltext |
