A study on steel-structure manufacturing firms in China.

Abstract

Based on the broad survey and accurate statistics, this article mainly concerns the following issues: analysis the current status of Chinese steel-structure manufacturing firms; steel-structure manufacturing has low status in the national industry chain, which is disproportional with its function; the firms' development environment need to be improved and standardized; the structure of distribution, talents and benefits within firms are not fully with reason; competitions within this industry is comparatively drastic and disordered; steel-structure manufacturing's economic profit margin is not high, without corporations which bear core competitiveness and is not developed as a mainstream manufacturing industry.
