Abstract: The recent increase in cost of living and by extension, electricity, was a result of a global spike in cost of natural gas. Large consumptions of energy in our daily lives bring concerns to we can manage our electricity usage and how we can minimize wastage in electricity to create a sustainable energy cycle. The author’s Final Year Project is titled “Development of Energy Management System for Household Users”. The main purpose of this Final Year Project is to encourage household users to monitor and control their daily usage of electricity consumption. Most importantly, the author would like to help the household user to save cost by showing them the tools and software to effectively reduce the cost of electrical bills.
