Title: | Portable calibration system for accurate field calibration of temperature sensor | Authors: | Zaw, Myat Kyu Kyu | Keywords: | DRNTU::Engineering::Electrical and electronic engineering | Issue Date: | 2017 | Abstract: | In today’s world, HVAC system are widely used and the performance of the temperature sensor such as thermistors are very important since the poor accuracy in measurement can yield to unreliable performance of the system. Therefore it is necessary to calibrate the thermistors accordingly. There are various ways to perform the calibration and each has different kinds of limitation. One outstanding approach is to design a portable calibrator with water bath with two chambers which can result in high accuracy and rapid calibration. The disadvantage of the current model is adding the liquid in the tank manually. This report is about designing an intelligent water level controller. A simulation of microcontroller based water level controller and a prototype will be discussed. In order to get a reliable performance, the accuracy of measuring the water level is of vital importance. | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/10356/71679 | Schools: | School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering | Rights: | Nanyang Technological University | Fulltext Permission: | restricted | Fulltext Availability: | With Fulltext |
