dc.description.abstractNowadays, image registration is widely used in all kinds of profession such as engineering field, movie industry, medical applications, etc. Image registration is an image processing technique used to line up multiple scenes to form a single merged image regardless of image rotation, scaling, and translation. From research, there are many type of methods such as Scale Invariant Feature Transform (SIFT) and Speeded Up Robust Features (SURF) used as both detector and descriptor for this type of image processing, which is a crucial step for image registration. In this report, we implement one of the image registration applications; the image stitching, using C++ programming and we are able to combine photographic images with overlapping scenes to create panorama.en_US
