Abstract: In the marine industry, Fouling has caused widespread influence as a continuing and persistent problem. Once the ship is exposed to sea water, it will must be contaminated and suffer the problem of the effects of fouling. Fouling not only creates additional resistance to the ships, which make the fuel efficiency lower, but also pollute the marine ecosystem. The purpose of this fueling detection system is to detect the area and level of fouling on the ship body, and provide a quick and clear feedback to the crews on the ship’s hull condition. The proposed system is aim to use computer generated picture to analyze the level of hull pollution. The system will capture and analysis the pictures taken on the hulls and send an intuitive feedback to system users (crews).
