Title: Measurement of properties of wood-based materials
Authors: Teo, Jason Shi Wei
Keywords: DRNTU::Engineering::Mechanical engineering
Issue Date: 2017
Abstract: This study is conducted to examine how the mechanical properties of wood, specifically the strength and its corresponding elasticity, changes with holes drilled in them. Number of holes, hole size and spacing between holes are varied to observe how they affect the strength and elasticity of the material.
