Title: | Experimental analysis for carryover elimination in liquid desiccant dehumidification system | Authors: | Ji, Yuan | Keywords: | DRNTU::Engineering::Electrical and electronic engineering | Issue Date: | 2017 | Abstract: | In this project, we are going to test and improve a liquid desiccant dehumidification system in air quality aspects. The purpose is to guarantee the system is stable and meet the standard requirement. Normally, there are many factors can influence the output air quality in liquid desiccant dehumidification system, such as desiccant temperature or air flowrate. This project is mainly carried out in the form of experiments which specializes in comparative experiments to find the relationship between air quality and these factors. ICP-MS will gauge the sample to find out the concentration of desiccant in the air. The results of the experiments will then give the theoretical support to the system hardware improvement. Air filter and distributor pipe structure are two hardware improvement direction. Overall, this report is to show the details procedure and results of the experiments and the improved hardware design. In the future, more experiments need be carried out due to the more complicated design of the system. | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/10356/72033 | Schools: | School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering | Rights: | Nanyang Technological University | Fulltext Permission: | restricted | Fulltext Availability: | With Fulltext |
