Abstract: This report investigates the current diagnostic methods for examining the malaria. Brief background history of malaria and how it affected people are outlined. The primary aim is to using one of the efficient techniques in using SERS to obtain signals by using silver coated Iron (II, III) Oxide (Fe_3 O_4@ A_g) analyse the magnetic properties associated with the nanoparticles. Alignment of the nanoparticles are also taken into considerations to better evaluate haemozoin (β hematin crystal) detection and to well optimized the bonding between nanoparticle and β hematin crystal, Fe_3 O_4@ A_g have to be well utilized by modifying the concentrations. The proposed method was shown to be an effective way to show results SERS signals and the alignment of nanoparticles.
