dc.description.abstractThe photovoltaic (PV) power generation has been a popular choice of renewable energy source. Through studies, PV power generation has been identified as an unreliable power generation source due to its dependency on the climate condition which is uncontrollable and has great fluctuations. In order to establish a reliable power generation using PV, power compensator with a dedicated control is designed and incorporated into the power generation system. The results show that the quality of PV generation is improved which is verified through simulation studies.en_US
