Abstract: With the current global economy, there is a growing importance placed on foreign direct investment (FDI) by Hungary, Indonesia and the Philippines. Their respective effort to attract and increase inflows of foreign long-term capital involves implementation of various public policy instruments over time. This study evaluates and analyzes such policies that have aimed to develop the competitiveness of the three emerging economies.
