Abstract: The use of Information and Communication Technology tools in Singapore schools have been rising since the launch of the Information and ICT masterplans. In addition, with Vision 2030, sports have been a focus as well in Singapore. It is therefore important to maximise students’ learning in sports and it can be done using ICT tools with reported benefits in other areas like academics. Hence, the purpose of this study explored best ICT practices employed by PE teacher-coach in teaching sports, the benefits and challenges perceived by them and their students as well as recommendations to further enhance teaching and learning using ICT tools. Face-to-face interviews were conducted with 3 PE teacher-coaches and their students separately. The use of ICT tools in trainings brought about several benefits, and challenges that were experienced in the process. These findings were similar to existing literatures done on the use of ICT tools in PE lessons. Recommendations by the PE teacher-coaches as well as reduction of challenges faced could be taken into consideration to enhance the effectiveness of ICT-based lessons. Also, ICT-based and regular face-to-face sessions should work hand in hand to maximise students’ learning.
