Detailed research thus far has shown there are considerable engineering possibilities tuning their properties, especially in the prototypical methylammonium lead halide perovskite system. This study focuses on methylammonium lead bromide perovskite system as it has potential applications in light emission and optoelectrotronics. However, insufficient studies have been done on methylammonium lead bromide perovskites. Investigation was done on the inverse temperature crystallisation method instead of the conventional crystallisation by cooling. X-ray diffraction was conducted to check the purity of methylammonium lead bromide perovskite crystals grown. Finally, tuning of temperature of crystallisation with formic acid was investigated.
