Title: | By left | Authors: | Tan, Sharmaine Cheng Fong | Keywords: | DRNTU::Visual arts and music | Issue Date: | 2018 | Abstract: | By Left is about the story of my life experiences based on the problems that I faced as a left-hander since young. In this world, only 10% of the population is left-handed. And yes, I am one of the odd one out. There is no denying that there are plenty of things in life that affect us that we have to deal with, and these include the inconveniences and problems that only the left-handers can notice and understand. Just consider all of the right-handed gadgets, awkwardly designed desks, spiral notebook, scissors and cooking tools that fit comfortably only for right-handers. The journey reveals the reasons behind the problems that we faced and even things that we are unaware of in our daily surroundings. This also includes the creative solutions that left-handers have to resolve all these problems. | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/10356/74414 | Schools: | School of Art, Design and Media | Rights: | Nanyang Technological University | Fulltext Permission: | restricted | Fulltext Availability: | With Fulltext |
