Hence there is an increase in people relying more on these applications. However, the amount of similar application currently in the application stores makes their lifespan low and tend to be replaced with other newer applications. Therefore, this project aims to create a gamification module that can be applied on to new/existing applications to prolong their usage lifespan. Integrating an application with this module can give users a sense of fun and achievement while at the same time performing its original purpose. This gamification module will be developed with Adobe PhoneGap framework, an open source distribution of Cordova. Choosing this framework allows flexible developments which supports both Android and iOS devices. In conclusion, the gamification integration module is developed to help new/existing mobile applications developed, to allow the integration gamification aspect to the mobile application to increase their usage lifespan. | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/10356/74469 | Schools: | School of Computer Science and Engineering | Rights: | Nanyang Technological University | Fulltext Permission: | restricted | Fulltext Availability: | With Fulltext |
