Abstract: Solar Energy, being the 3rd renewable energy being harvested, is slightly expensive comparative to the wind energy, based on its energy yield and efficiency. The high cost is due to the complexity process of making the solar panels. Therefore, this project aims to study the different DC-DC converters available and thus selecting the more efficient and economical to produce. Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) will be used for load or battery charging.
