With the growing need for advanced polymeric materials such as polymer composites and blends, 3D printing has the potential to fill up the gap. Compatibility of polymers had always been an issue when dealing with polymer blends. This issue is addressed in this report using group contribution method. Group contribution method is an additive rule which provide fast computation of solubility parameter with good accuracy. An excel datasheet is designed using molar attraction constants of Hoy group to investigate the case studies from literature. The experiment shows most of the polymer blends used in 3D printing are chemically compatible.
