Abstract: Tug-of-War is a worldwide well know sport that involves two teams competing directly against each other. It is an interesting, straight forward and simple game. This report records the research and the design process for the creation of a Tug-of-War machine which is meant to improve the old game. This project is to re-create the game Tug-of-War to overcome the limitations of the game and to inspire new applications of the game while retaining elements of the gameplay.
