Title: | Data analytics to understand human behaviour | Authors: | Tan, Daniel | Keywords: | DRNTU::Engineering | Issue Date: | 2018 | Abstract: | The purpose of this project is to explore the interesting patterns and behaviours that could be discovered from the data of one test subject’s everyday computer interaction. Different methods of data collection were explored. After collecting the computer usage data, the raw data were then processed through means of filtering and sorting using ExcelVBA in preparation for the different types of analysis methods. The results obtained from the analysis were then tallied with the test subject’s schedule and lifestyle habits. Interesting discoveries such as the frequency in which the test subject uses the computer for learning and leisure, and the websites frequent together were made. | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/10356/74735 | Schools: | School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering | Rights: | Nanyang Technological University | Fulltext Permission: | restricted | Fulltext Availability: | With Fulltext |
