Issue Date: 2018
Abstract: Femtosecond laser direct writing technique is potential micro-patterning and micro-fabrication method for precision manufacturing industry. Objective of this thesis is to analyse and study fabrication of micro structure on surface of graphene oxide on different substrates by femtosecond laser. Short pulse femtosecond laser was used to photo reduced graphene oxide to reduced graphene oxide. Parametric study of photoreduction on graphene oxide was conducted in analysing photo thermal effects. Samples will be characterized by optical microscope, confocal microscope, resistance measuring instrument and transmittance measuring device. Results show that different characteristics of reduced graphene oxide appears on different substrate after photoreduction.
