Title: Design and build a dual input negative linear regulator
Authors: Boo, Hongsen
Keywords: DRNTU::Engineering
Issue Date: 2018
Abstract: With the advent of Integrated circuits and the widespread proliferation of direct current based consumer electronics such as smartphones, voltage regulators that are capable of providing a stable DC voltage from an AC power source have become essential to the everyman. A voltage regulator is able to maintain a stable voltage as it senses changes to load conditions and adjusts a voltage divider internally. The purpose of this project is to design and construct a dual input, negative voltage regulator able to switch between -6.3V and -13.3V inputs automatically depending on load condition. Methodology and results obtained will be elaborated further in the report.
