Abstract: Since discovery of Electromagnetic waves in 1865 by James Clerk Maxwell, technology advancement has been an unstoppable force which benefit our lives tremendously. Advancing to the 21st century, electromagnetic spectrum has been largely used up for communications, leaving little space for further exploration. Also, with the increasing demands in higher data speed and more data transfer on a go, it is necessary to develop new methodology to maximize the capability of the electromagnetic spectrum fulfil the needs of the people, and Orbital Angular Momentum may be a methodology to solve these issues. In this report, we analyze the nature of twisted radio waves and discuss its possibilities to improve the efficiency of electromagnetic spectrum.
