Abstract: This report presents the implementation of measuring the transmittance of the liquid crystal thin cell and the response time of liquid crystal change effect under applied voltage.The implementation were carried out by using liquid crystal thin cell and measurement equipment. The aim of this project is to study the changes of transmittance of the liquid crystal while adjust the applied voltage.It will help to understand the principle of smart window. The objective was met and the results are presented.
