Title: Design and development of a solar energy system for AC and DC uses in homes
Authors: Leej, John Hoe Han
Keywords: DRNTU::Engineering
Issue Date: 2018
Abstract: This project discusses the types of solar energy systems available and determines which system is the most suitable for residential use. The selected type of solar energy system will be analyzed and explained in further detail to give the reader a vast knowledge of the operation of the solar energy system. The project involves the buildup of the entire solar energy system which consists of the charge controller, converter, as well as inverter. These will be designed and integrated into practical hardware applications for actual use. The system will be able to handle loads such as smartphone charging and lighting in homes.
